I have a 1997 Toyota Celica ST with a 1.8 ltr. motor and I also own a 1994 Toyota Celica GT with a 2.2 ltr. motor. The 2.2 motor is in great condition but the car is totaled and the 1.8 has a lot of miles on it...I want to do an engine swap and was wondering if the engine mounts would line up and if I would need any special sensors for the 2.2 that I did not previously need for the 1.8 or the other way around. If anyone has previously done this engine swap or know the differeneces in the engines that I would need to know about before I do the swap could you please tell me.
