Whats up swap shop and anyone else out there. My questions is pretty cut and dry. I got a b20 in my 92 DA, SK2 manifold, Crower cams stage 2 i think... cold air int, exhaust, and header, ecu chipped, and a simple blaster2 MSD set up... i like the power i make its not to bad. but i want to get more out of my top end.. what would be a good next step in that direction??? what other little add-ons could i go with to help get my power up...i.e fuel upgrades etc... any info would help me out. thanks
It sounds like you pretty much have most of the basics covered. If you really want to go to the next level and get some top end power out of your B20, I would probably move up to a VTEC head. A couple of questions though; Is your head ported? Throttle Body? And finally are you running a cat?
i have been thinking about getting the head ported but wasnt sure about how much of a difference i should expect.. and of course price might be an issue. as far as throttle body im on my stock LS tb. im running with my cat right now but want to have it test piped just open her up a lil more and make some noise. some people have told me to put in like ITR or CTR style pistons.. but seems like alot of work and i dont want to be dissappointed. What price would i be looking at to do the vtec change over?
